Community and External Leadership
Candidates who successfully complete a building-level educational leadership preparation program understand and demonstrate the capacity to promote the current and future success and well-being of each student and adult by applying the knowledge, skills, and commitments necessary to engage families, community, and school personnel in order to strengthen student learning, support school improvement, and advocate for the needs of their school and community.
SRG Book Study
I participated in a book study of Standards-Based Learning in Action: Moving from Theory to Practice to develop an action plan for rolling out SRG to our community and to develop staff and parent handbooks with updated SRG information.
Fall Goals School Board Report
I assisted my principal in presenting our school's goals related to ELA, Math, and SEL. This was the beginning of a lot of system initiatives such as PLCs, RULER, and Intervention implementation.
